At Swiss German University (SGU), accreditation is more than a regulatory requirement—it is a commitment to continuous improvement, academic excellence, and impactful service to society. Our Quality Assurance Team is dedicated to aligning our academic and institutional standards with the regulations set by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, particularly through the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) and LAMs (Independent Accreditation Bodies) for specific disciplines.

In fulfilling this commitment, we ensure that every program and institutional function meets or exceeds the national standards for quality. Accreditation serves as a benchmark that motivates us to innovate, improve, and remain accountable—not only to regulatory bodies but more importantly, to our students and the community we serve.

Adapting to Technological and Policy Advancements

The landscape of higher education is rapidly evolving. In recent years, the Ministry has introduced Outcome-Based Education (OBE) frameworks and emphasized the importance of digital transformation, including the integration of Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policies and digital-based accreditation tools.

SGU is actively adapting to these advancements by:

  • Embracing technology-enhanced learning and assessment

  • Encouraging industry collaboration and student-centered learning

  • Utilizing automated accreditation systems (such as SAPTO and LED-e) for transparency and efficiency

  • Developing data-driven internal quality assurance processes (SPMI)

Through accreditation, we strive not only for recognition but for real transformation—ensuring that our graduates are equipped to become competent professionals, responsible citizens, and agents of change in Indonesia and beyond.
