On Thursday, 07 August 2025, Swiss German University (SGU), represented by its Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance (SPQA) Department, actively participated in a prestigious academic event hosted by Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) in collaboration with Times Higher Education (THE). The event, titled THE – Indonesian Private Universities Ranking Masterclass: Ranking and Reputation, served as a valuable platform for private universities in Indonesia to gain deeper insights into the evolving landscape of global academic rankings.
This exclusive masterclass featured a comprehensive simulation and institutional diagnostic session based on the newly implemented World University Ranking (WUR) 3.0 methodology, along with analysis of the most recent WUR 2025 data. Participants explored strategic opportunities to enhance institutional performance, reputation, and global visibility through data-driven assessment tools provided by THE.
SGU’s participation reflects its proactive stance in aligning with international benchmarking standards and commitment to continuous quality improvement. The event also emphasized the importance of regional collaboration among Indonesian private universities and the collective pursuit of academic excellence.
